摘　　要：On November 9, the National Development and Reform Commission conducted a pollregarding the rearrangement of national legal holidays on its official website. After a year of research and study, a framework for the changes has been completed. The changes it proposes include：While the rearrangement of legal holidays has aroused hot debate throughout China,a majority of the public recognizes and appreciates the rearrangement since it is focused on the people's needs and traditional Chinese culture.
