摘　　要：邓小平以科学的态度批判地继承民族的开放精神,并赋予了新的时代内容:引进资金技术论是对传统"师夷长技"思想的超越;大开放论是对传统社会发展的超越;吸收人类文明成果论是对传统取材异国思想的超越,而基本国策论更是使中华民族的开放精神在新的历史时期得到拓展和升华。Deng Xiaoping inherited the open spirit of the Chinese nation with critical attitude and enriched it with modern ideas. For instance, his theory of introducing capitals and technology is a progress over the traditional idea of ＂learning others’ strong points＂; his theory of opening-up is a progress over the traditional social development; his theory of absorbing cultural achievements of human kind is a progress over the traditional thinking of ＂taking resources from other countries＂; and his theory of basic state policy is even developed, expanded and sublimated on the basis of the traditional open spirit in the new historic period.
