摘  要:In language learning writing is a very important source of output which is social and interactive rather than simply cognitive and individual. One of the problems in our learners' EFL writing is their lack of awareness of readership which affects their writing purpose, interactive strategies, and composing results. The writer of this paper tends to discuss the importance of learners' awareness of readership in their EFL writing, investigate the situation with English majors, and suggest ways to raise this awareness in our learners.
