摘　　要：艾未未．1957年生于北京．是诗人艾青的儿子。在孩童时期．他就跟家人被下放到戈壁滩。他曾就读于北京电影学院。1981年移居纽约．在帕森艺术与设计学院学习．并于1994年回国。1999年开始研究城市设计、建筑、室内建筑以及景观建筑。他与建筑师赫尔佐格和德梅隆通力协作．参与了2008年奥运会北京国家体育场的设计过程。今年夏天，艾未未同1001名中国同胞一起前住德国卡塞尔．在第十二届“文献展”上展出了作品《童话》。Ai Weiwei, born in 1957 in Beijing, is the son of the poet Ai Qing. During his childhood, he and his family were forced into exile in the Gobi Desert. He studied at Peking Institute of Film. In 1981 he moved to New York, where he studied at Parsons School of Design and Art. tn 1994 he returned to China. Since 1999 he has explored urban design, architecture, interior architecture and landscape architecture. In collaboration with Herzog ＆ de Meuron he designed the Beijing National Stadium for the 2008 Olympic games. This summer Ai Weiwei and 1001 of his countrymen will travel to Cassel to present the “Fairytale” project at Documenta 12.
