摘 要:2006年深秋后的北京乐坛,像成熟了的果实,五彩缤纷的新作品音乐会相继问世。我有幸应邀聆听了大部分节目,这里,我只想着重谈一些校友们写的曲目:谈音乐和作者,谈目前和过去。因为有历史渊源,他们曾经的境遇,写作上可能有什么奥妙?采用什么样的"密码"?也许我会略知一二。In 2005 the Hong Kong Chinese Music Orches- tra launched the hard and huge project of Huqin reconstruction project under the direction of Mr.Yan Huichang,Art Director.The purpose is to remove some defects of traditional Huqin with a new way of designing,to adopt a new environment-friendly ma- terial to replace python's skin so as to achieve a win-win situation between environmental protection and traditional art.'Move steps without changing a pose'is a common performing technique in Chinese operas. Our design conception and practice procedures of the instrument reconstruction project also basically follow this concept.As the unique timber of Huqin and the timbers of the Huqin series created through a half century have been widely accepted by peo- ple,this'pose'should not be changed.Then how to'move steps'could we reach the aim to pre- serve the traditional timber of Huqin and to improve the instrument's capability while meet- ing the requirement for environmental protec- tion?We can only make researches by our- selves.Since as early as 1960,there have been some people in China who make re- searches on man-made python skin There have also been some products of man-made python skin in recent years,but most of them are made of indecomposable plastics,which are not truly environment protecting material. The timber of these man-made python skin is not better than that of the real python skin. Being fully aware of these facts,we start our work from seeking environment protecting se- bum materials and restructuring the resonance box,with a view to create,through constant experiments,the normal Huqin series that meet the can satisfy the use of the orchestra. During the past one and a half year,re- hearsals,performance,and instrument trans- formation have been carried out incessantly, with the purpose to enhance the function of string instruments while retaining the overall timber.
