摘　　要：本文阐述了GIS、VB、可视化及相关技术的发展历史和研究现状,提出了当前城市交通需要解决的实际问题,建立了城市交通可视化数据模型,论述了系统的组成结构及各模块的功能特点,分析了系统的社会经济效益和发展应用前景。The paper expounds the developing history and present situation of the GIS,VB,visualization and relevant technology.It brings forward some practical problems to solve about urban traffic,establish the visualization data model of urban traffic,dissertates the composition structure of the system and the function and characteristic of every module,analyzes the social economic benefits and the development and application prospect of the system,introduces the characteristic of the software system.
