“掉”的词义衍变递嬗探微

摘　　要："掉"的本义似源于划船时身子的前后摆动,引申而有"摆动;摇动"等义,"掉"出现在某些动词后的用法与其所表动作义的虚化有关,"掉"的"摆动;摇动"义产生的位移可以是自主的,也可以是非自主的,非自主的位移又可以是自发的,也可以是致使的。非自主的致使位移则促使了"掉"的动作义虚化,趋向于附属在某些动词后,用作补语,表示动作的结果。"掉"可通"调、誂",有"玩弄轻慢"义。Diao（掉） is the special word that is widely used in Chinese language. According to historical records, the original meaning of Diao（掉） comes from the sway of the body by rowing a boat that extending the meaning of sway. The meaning that is grammaticalization in some verbs. Some displacement of the sway maybe act on one＇s own and others that cannot help which maybe is unhebidden or causal. The displacement of the sway that cannot help spurs the grammaticalization of Diao（掉） which adding at some verbs and expressing a result. By the way, Diao（掉） can replace Diao（调、誂） which meaning is that treating somebody without proper respect.
