摘　　要：介绍了龙芯2号增强型处理器(以下简称龙芯2E)配套北桥的总体架构、模块互连以及各个模块的设计和优化工作。测试结果表明,优化使龙芯2E系统的FTP上传带宽提升了36.6%,系统的整体性能达到了In-tel Pentium4 1.4 GHz的水平并足以胜任各种格式流媒体的解码和播放。Performance of chipset makes great contribution to the overall performance of the computing system. It ibcused on the nortbbridge that came with the Godson-2 Enhanced processor, presenting introductions on its general architecture, module interconnects as well as the design and optimization for each of its modules. Test results have indicated an FTP transfer bandwidth growth of 36. 6% for the Godson-2E system, whose overall performance is now comparable with that of a Pentium 4 system running at 1.4 GHz, and besides, competent for playbacks of all stream media types. The design methodology and optimization procedure have successfully demonstrated their practicality and efficiency.
