摘　　要：首先论述了几种传统矢量数据压缩算法,在分析各种算法单独用于电子地图压缩时存在问题的基础上提出一种矢量数据压缩算法,并对其压缩效果进行评价。Firstly, this paper discussed several classical compressing algorithms. Based on the analyses of the problems caused by applying these algorithms to the electronic map, put forward a new vector data compressing algorithm, whereafter, tested the reliability of the algorithm.
