The process involves not only implement complex queries but also code changes, recompilations and reruns each time we add or change information. The applications are supported by active database systems through detecting and responding to changes in databases. It includes performing some data control tasks and monitoring changes by specified trigger systems. However the most problem with current trigger systems is that their support for detecting and monitoring information and data flows in a dynamic and evolving environment is too limited. A mechanism is presented in which triggers may be placed to monitor information and data flows in a dynamic workflow environment.
