摘　　要：公众对建筑中的自由曲面造型多有"不理性"和"形式主义"的看法.通过对优秀曲面建筑设计案例的分析,认为这些曲面造型背后,存有合理的构思,可弥补日益高密度化的城市环境,回应比过去复杂的城市文脉,满足受力和其他物理方面的要求等.因此,建筑师们应放下观念上的包袱,为设计更理性、更优雅、更经济的自由曲面造型做准备.Freestyle curvilinear architecture gains a disrepute as ＇ reasonless and formalism type ＇ in public. Based on case studies, intentions and practical meanings of curvilinear architecture design are analyzed in the paper, compensating for environment in much higher density urban area, responding to more complex urban context, catering to strength and other physics requirement, etc. Therefore, architects should lay down burden in their mind, and make preparation for the design of more rational, elegant, and economy curvilinear form.
