摘　　要：国际主题与女性中心人物是亨利.詹姆斯文学世界中极其重要的不可分割的两个方面。詹姆斯作为一个文化身份与性取向皆较为复杂的作家,其个人体验与社会文化语境之间呈现一种综合的动态关系:19世纪美国人对欧洲文化的回归式探寻与"朝圣"情结、历来文学领域女性价值及其形象的被忽视,跨欧美文化的生活经历、性倒错的个体心理体验;两个维度诸多方面的因素决定了詹姆斯小说国际主题的特质与以女性形象作为小说中心人物的文学选择。International theme and female images are the two most important inseparable aspects in Henry James＇ s literary works. As a writer, whose cultural indentity and sex mindset are so complicated, there is a dynamic interrelationship in Henry＇s individual experience and sociocultural context： American＇ s cultural pilgrimage complex in 19th century, fernale＇s importance and her state of being neglected in the domain of literature, Henry＇s trans- Euro- American living career and sexual pen＇ersion psychological experience, etc. Several factors ＇affected ltenry James＇s literary creation deeply, and that＇s the reason why he prefer red international topics and female images as souls in Iris works,
