摘　　要：简要介绍中国佛教寺庙园林的发展历史,阐述了佛教寺庙园林的生态文化特征,总结出佛教寺庙园林生态文化特征的现实意义,即生态环境保护意义和生态旅游开发意义。As one of three main types of traditional Chinese garden, temple garden is indeed important in Chinese history, especially for the reason of the ecological culture. This article briefly introduces the history of development of Chinese Buddhism Temple Gardens and explains their ecological culture, as well as summarizes the realistic meaning of this ecological culture as following：environment protection and exploitation of ecological tourism.
