摘　　要：针对Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ环境下多媒体同步出现的新问题，提出了一个适合Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ桌面会议系统的多媒体同步方案，并结合正在研制的多点桌面会议系统ＭＤＣＳ（Ｍｕｌｔｉ－ｐｏｉｎｔＤｅｓｋｔｏｐＣｏｎｆｅｒｅｎｃｅＳｙｓｔｅｍ）详细分析这种方案及其性能．实践证明该方案能适应Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ环境。The current evolution of network technology makes it possible to hold a desktop conference over the Internet. However, the distribution of multimedia data streams over the Internet will not support the real time application and the synchronization between media can be disruptive as the packets will be lost and delayed in teh Internet. A scheme for solving the synchronization of media over the Internet is proposed. Experiments with a multipoint desktop conference system (MDCS) based on such a scheme show that it is adaptive to the Internet environment and the results are found to be satisfactory with nice quality.
