摘  要:火星尘暴是火星上特有的大气运动,也是人类登陆火星的主要障碍。考虑到火星的具体情况,早期针对火星大气的研究主要集中在实验室的物理模拟实验,建立火星大气实验室,研究在火星大气条件下火星尘埃扬起的机制等方面。同时根据地球大气物理的运动方程、能量方程和质量守恒方程,并与早期的火星观测数据进行比较,从而建立起火星大气环流的一般模型(GC-Ms)。GCMs模型对大中尺度的模拟计算能够取得好的效果,但对小尺度的计算很困难,为研究火星大量中等尺度和小尺度的大气环流现象(如尘暴的发生机制等),近来已经建立起了适合火星区域大气环流系统的模型(MRAMS)。MRAMS同时也是Mars Global Surveyor(MGS)用来处理高分辨率资料的理想工具。Dust-storm is one of the largest contributors to atmospheric variability on Mars and also prevents human from landing. Because of its unique nature, the early research on Mars was concentrated on the nature of dust-storm as an atmospheric tracer meaning that there is a huge potential for feedbacks between the dust distribution and the general circulation. The experiments were mainly conducted to investigate dust lifting mechanisms under Martian conditions. They were mostly concerned with the work carried out in large wind tunnels, which may be kept at low pressure and filled with gases and dust particles represent- ative of Mars. Some of the earliest theoretical work regarding the Martian atmosphere involved applying the constraints of angular momentum, energy and mass balances to the few results able to be obtained from Earth-based and early space observations, establishing general circulation models (GCMs). Given the large number of mesoscale and microscale atmospheric phenomena and processes in the Martian atmosphere, and the important feedback processes coupled with the micro and mesoscale circulation (e. g. , the dust devil), the paper describes the development of a three-dimensional numerical model capable of simulating these phenomena and presents the model description for the Mars regional atmospheric modeling system (MRAMS). It is believed that MRAMS is the ideal tool for utilizing the high-resolution products from the Mars Global Surveyor (MGS).
