摘　　要：美国当代著名女作家安.贝蒂通过作品中大量冷静客观的细节描写展现了婴儿潮那一代人充满迷茫和无奈的生活状况,从文学的角度敏感地捕捉到了时代的特点。本文从文化分析的角度入手,以贝蒂的名篇《风起水库》为主,用文本细读的分析方法,结合拉斯奇的自恋主义文化理论,探讨这篇短篇小说所反映的20世纪六七十年代弥漫于美国社会的自恋主义文化。Depicting the cultural peculiarity of the time from a literary point of view, Ann Beattie, a noted contemporary American woman writer, presents images of typical baby boomers who were alienated, disaffected, and suffering from quiet desperation in her fiction. This paper aim to explore the culture of narcissism that prevailed American society in the 1970s by analyzing Beanie＇s masterpiece A Windy Day at the Reservoir from the perspective of Christopher Lasch＇s theory on culture of narcissism.
