摘 要:研究了一种用于土木工程结构监测的本征型强度调制光纤传感器。其敏感部分是利用光刻技术在多模光纤上形成的齿槽周期结构。文中对该传感器原理作了详细的分析,首次得到这种传感器既能测量拉应变,也能测量压应变的结论。传感器对应变的响应具有良好的线性和重复性,其应变灵敏度完全由敏感元件结构参数决定。文中给出了钢筋拉应变、混凝土压应变的试验,结果与理论一致,表明这种传感器是土木工程结构力学测量。Abstract: This paper presents a new intrinsic fiber optic sensor based on intensity modulation for monitoring structures incivil engineering, whose sensing element, of alternative tooth trough shape, is formed directly on the multi mode fiber claddingby photo etching. It analyses in detail the sensing principle andgives the conclusion for the first time that this kind of sensorcan detect both tensile and compressive strains. Response of the sensor is of excellent linearity and repeatability, and the sensitivity depends only on the structural parameters of the sensing element. Experimental results in testing steel tension and concrete compression are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis. This new class fiber optic sensor is ideal for measuring and monitoring mechanical structures.
