摘　　要：详细介绍了TI公司新推出的一款智能电源芯片BQ24721,包括它的功能、特点及其在便携式设备电源系统中的应用。研究表明,BQ24721是一款集电源自动选择、电池充电器及安全保护于一体的高集成度、高精度的整合式电源芯片,它为便携式设备的电源系统设计提供了一种有效的解决方案,值得深入研究和推广。A new intelligent power chip BQ24721 was introduced in detail, including its character, function and its application in portable power system. And the result shows that the BQ24721 is not only a muhifunction power chip with system power selector, dynamic power management （DPM） charger and self-protection, but also an integrated power chip with the characteristic of high integration and high precision. It provides an efficient method to design portable power system, and is of recommendable.
