摘　　要：从国家经济增长方式转变、发展现代产业体系和建设生态文明的角度,阐述了现代农牧业与传统农牧业的区别,草业在现代化大农业中的突出功能和主要问题;提出整合资源、团结协作、振兴草业是市场和国家发展的需要;激励青年草业科技工作者深入实际,着力创新,处理好自然科学与社会科学、SCI论文与成果转化、基本功与创新、个人追求与三农三牧的关系,在科学研究与社会实践中建功立业。This paper elucidates the differences between modern and traditional agriculture and animal husbandry and points out the important functions and major problems of prataculture in the development of modern agricultural industry from the strategic view of state economic increment pattern, development of modern industry system, and establishment of ecological civilization. The integration of resources, solidarity and collaboration, progress of prataculture are necessary to the market maturity and national development. Young pratacultural scientists should make great achievements in both scientific research and social practical activities by rooting into practice, striving for innovation, and dealing well with the following relationships, e.g. natural and social sciences, SCI journal article publication and technological application, basic skill training and scientific innovation, personal aspiration and three-problem of agriculture and ani- mal husbandry, etc.
