摘　　要：现代社会发展以无限物质增殖、无限消费、破坏生态、个人绝对自由为基础,创造了财富,也带来了灾难。这种不可持续的发展观即将受到修正。21世纪新人文精神超越人类中心主义,高扬生态意识;超越工具理性,呼唤审美智慧;调节理性思维与精神信仰;连接自然科学与人文关怀之间的断裂;将人类从物质主义的牢笼中解放出来,成就新的人性,建构全新的世界观和人生观,铸造完全不同于过去的新的精神世界。应将中国文化固有的文化基因与现代诠释相结合,面向当代多元文化的世界,在世界不同知识体系和文化精神的互动、互识和互补中建构和发展21世纪新人文精神。Modern society, which is founded on infinite material accruement and consumption, ecological destruction, and absolute individual freedom, has not only accumulated a great deal of riches, but also brought about disasters. This unsustainable development mode is to be modified. A new humanism in the 21st century will surpass human centrism and instrument rationality, exalt eco-consciousness, call for aesthetic wisdom, reconcile reasoning and faith, link science with humanity, emancipate human beings from the cage of materialism, form a new humanity, constitute a entirely new weltanschauung, and last of all, make a totally different moral world.
