Fabrication and Characterizations of Aligned PAN/MWCNTs Composite Parallel Nanofibers by Eiectrospinning

摘  要:通过静电纺丝制备PAN以及PAN/MWCNT平行纤维膜,纤维直径在100~300nm之间。分析结果表明,随着转筒转速的增大,纤维平行取向增强,但达到一定转速后,纤维平行取向效果变差。MWCNT沿纤维轴向排列,随着MWCNT含量的增加,纤维表面变得粗糙并且直径变得粗细不均。MWCNT的加入增强了纤维膜的拉伸强度和拉伸模量。同时使PAN环化反应开始温度以及热解温度提前,有利于后续预氧化和碳化的进行。但当MWCNT含量达到10 wt%后,其拉伸强度下降。Polyacrylonitrile(PAN) and PAN/MWCNTs composite parallel nanofibers with ad iameter distribution from 100nm to 300nm are prepared by electrospinning technology. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), XRD, DSC, TGA and the Instron test are used to characterize the nanofiber sheets. The results indicate that the effective draw is increased resulting in better alignment of the collected fiber with the increase of the take-up speed, but when the take-up speed reaches a critical value, the alignment of the collected fiher becomes slightly worse. SEM and TEM observations indicate that the MWCNTs are parallel and oriented along the axes of the nanofibers. With the increase of the MWCNTs content, the nanofibers become rougher and the diameter distribution gets non-uniform because of the variety in MWCNTs shapes. The tensile properties of PAN Nanofibers are promoted by the addition of MWCNTs filler. However, as the MWCNTs content is 10%, the tensile strength of composite nanofibers dramatically decreases. DSC and TGA results show that the addition of MWCNTs accelerates the thermal decomposition and cryclization of PAN-based nanofibers, and it is beneficial to the oxidation and carbonization.
