摘　　要：福田康夫高票当选自民党总裁并出任日本首相，反映了自民党内外和广大民众在日本混乱的派系政治下的人心思定。但是，维系日本派系平衡的政治局面也是福田内阁无法超越的。今后福田内阁的内外政策可能更加稳健，日本同亚洲国家的关系可能会有进一步改善。然而，福田的执政前景仍将经受派系政治的严峻考验，且直接影响中日关系的发展。Senior Researcher of the Central Party School of the CPC, Visiting Professor of Japan's Waseda University and Guest Researcher of CPDS. The fact that Yasuo Fukuda was elected President of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party with high percentage of votes and became Japan's Prime Minister, shows that people inside and outside of the LDP and general public are longing for peace and quiet when they were thrown into disarray because of factional politics in Japan. However, it is also unable for the Fukuda cabinet to maintain a political situation that will keep various factions in check. In the future, domestic and foreign policies of the Fukuda cabinet will possibly be more steady and sedate; Japan's relations with its Asian neighbors will likely be further improved. Even so, The future of Fukuda at the helm of the state will be confronted with a severe test of factional politics, which in turn will also have a direct bearing on the development of China-Japan relationship.
