摘　　要：21世纪人类社会经历着人口老龄化和传染病威胁的双重考验。研究新传染病有助于个人、家庭和社会对新传染病的特点、传播方式和对老龄健康危害的认识。介绍了新传染病的定义、类型和特点,分别以SARS和HIV为例说明了新传染病对老龄健康的影响,提出了应建立有利于老龄健康的社会预警和应急系统。Human society is experiencing the double test of ageing population and the threat of infectious diseases in the 21 st century. Research on emerging infectious diseases contributes to understand its characteristics, transmission and hazards to the health of ageing for personal, family and social society. This paper expounded the definition, type and characteristics of emerging infectious diseases firstly, then illustrated the effects on the health of ageing using SARS and HIV as an example, and finally proposed to establish an early warning and response system for the health of ageing.
