摘 要:液晶取向剂是制造液晶显示器的关键材料之一,目前文献大多研究聚酰亚胺结构对液晶预倾角的影响,而单体配比对预倾角影响的研究还较少。文章用均苯四羧酸二酐(PM-DA)、4,4′-二氨基二苯甲烷(MDA)和4-(4-(三氟甲氧基)苯甲酰基)环己基-3,5-二胺基苯甲酸酯(TBCA)制备了一系列三元共聚型聚酰亚胺液晶取向剂,用原子力显微镜对取向剂诱导液晶分子取向能力进行了考察,首次研究了单体配比对液晶预倾角的影响。研究发现,所有取向剂对液晶分子均有较好的取向性能;液晶分子的预倾角随TBCA含量增加而增大;在保持两种二胺配比不变的情况下,随着二酐含量增加而先增大后减小。并最终在单体配比为n(PMDA)∶n(MDA)∶n(TBCA)=104∶60∶40的条件下,合成了一种预倾角高达7.7°、成本较低的聚酰亚胺液晶取向剂。Liquid crystal(LC)alignment layer is one of the key materials of manufacturing LCD.At pre-sent,the effect of polyimide structure on LC pretilt angle has been investigated widely,but the effect of monomer mole ratio on the pretilt angle was less.In this paper,4-(4-aminobenzyl)benzenamine(MDA),pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA)and 4-(4-(trifluoromethoxy)benzoyl)cyclohexyl-3,5-diaminobenzoate(TBCA)with a large branch chain were used to synthesize a series of trinary co-condensation type polyimides(PIs).By means of atomic force microscope(AFM),the LC molecule alignment ability induced by polyimide alignment layers was studied.The effect of monomer mole ratio on pretilt angle was investigated for the first time when PIs were used as LC alignment layer.The result was concluded as follows:All alignment layers show good orientation properties;LC pretilt angle increased with TBCA content in polyimide;when the two diamines mole ratio kept no change,the pretilt angle increased firstly and then decreased with dianhydride and diamine mole ratio.When the monomer mole ratio is n(PMDA)∶n(MDA)∶n(TBCA)=104∶60∶40,a lower cost polyimide with pretilt angle as high as 7.7 ° was prepared.
