摘　　要：网络知识组织系统(NKOS)是网络环境下知识组织体系的电子化描述。它是在网络环境下对知识结构进行系统化描述和说明的。是用于支持网络信息的表示与检索等活动的知识组织系统。NKOS已逐渐成为信息科学领域一个新的、重要的研究领域。NKOS的研究主要涉及:NKOS的表示、互操作、标准化问题、生成与维护及应用等领域。NKOS的发展为图书馆传统的知识组织带来了生机,并推动了信息组织、信息表示、基于内容的信息检索等应用的发展。Network knowledge organization system （NKOS） is an electronic description of knowledge organization system in the networked environment. It is a knowledge organization system used to support the representation and retrieval of network information. NKOS is becoming a new and important research field in information science. The researches on NKOS are related to the representation of NKOS, interoperability, standardization, and the generation, maintenance and application of NKOS. The development of NKOS will give impetus to traditional library knowledge organization, and push the development of the applications of information organization, information representation, content-based information retrieval, etc, 1 fig. 30 refs.
