摘  要:基于Giles模型对C-EDFA放大的自发辐射谱进行了研究,得出了铒纤增益随长度增加向长波段位移的结论。分析了L-EDFA和C-EDFA中各光束的传输特性,为L-EDFA低泵浦转换效率提供了合理的解释,并研究了L-EDFA本征平坦增益特性,确定了形成平坦增益的最佳粒子数反转条件(-40%)。最后利用EDFA前端加入一个光纤环行镜反射后向ASE光这种新颖的结构,较好地解决了L-EDFA泵浦效率低的问题,相比于传统的链路结构泵浦转换效率提高了8.76%。EDF gain shifting to long band with the length increase was demonstrated by analyzing the C-EDFA amplified spontaneous emmission spectrum based on Giles model. Furthermore, transmission characteristic of various beam of light in L-EDFA and C-EDFA was studied and a reasonable explanation for low pump conversion efficiency (PCE) of L-EDFA was provided. Moreover, the intrinsic flat gain property was investigated. Gain spectrum is flat on optimum population inversion level (-40%). Finally, the problem of L-EDFA low PCE was solved by using a fiber loop mirror at the foreside of the L-EDFA to reflect the backward ASE. The PCE increases by 8.76% compared with the conventional structure.
