摘　　要：一个国家的繁荣和一个省域的发展,都不能脱离和超越国情及省情。河北省建设沿海经济社会发展强省目标的制定,是科学决策的结果,也正是正确分析和利用省情的结果。为实现这一宏伟目标,加强和完善省情研究机制是十分重要的前提与基础,这就要求从实际出发,正确认识和定位河北省省情研究现状,找出差距,弥补不足,建立健全具有河北特色的省情研究机构和理论体系。The development of a country and a province must be based on the status of that country or that province. The policy of building our province into a strong social and economical coastal region is a result of scientific decision which is based on the proper analysis of province status data. To achieve this great goal, it is essential to strengthen and improve the research mechanisms for the status study of our province. This requires us to recognize and determine the status quo of the research on the provincial study, identify and correct the weaknesses, establish a research systeme which reflects the unique characteristics of our province status study.
