摘 要:在光纤传输系统中,容量的扩大、速率的提高、距离的延长都与光纤的损耗、非线性效应、色散效应密切相关。随着掺铒光纤放大器的广泛使用,损耗问题基本得到了解决。由于光纤色散能够有效地抑制四波混频、自相位调制等非线性效应,对光纤通信系统进行升级扩容的关键是解决色散问题。根据耦合模理论对均匀光纤光栅和啁啾光纤光栅的反射谱进行了数值仿真,结果表明,啁啾光纤光栅的色散补偿性能优于均匀光纤光栅。设计了用啁啾光纤光栅对10 Gbps光信号传输300 km进行色散补偿的仿真系统。仿真结果表明:应用啁啾光纤光栅进行色散补偿能使光纤传输系统的性能得到显著的改善。In optical fiber transmission system, the enlargement of capacity, the improvement of rate, the extension of distance are all closely related with the fiber loss, nonlinear effect and dispersion effect. Since EDFA has been widely applied, the weakness in fiber loss is mostly controlled. The dispersion, which can efficiently restrain the effect of nonlinear such as FWM and SPM, is regarded as the key point to update and enlarge optical communication. According to the coupled mode theory, the reflectance spectrum of uniform fiber grating and chirped fiber grating are given by numerical simulation. The results show that chirped fiber grating is more appreciated when referring to its dispersion compensation capacity, compared with uniform fiber grating. Finally, the simulation system of 10Gbps optical signal transmission 300 km using chirped fiber grating for dispersion compensation is designed. The results of simulation on optical fiber transmission system demonstrate a significant improvement by employing chirped fiber grating for dispersion compensation.
