摘　　要：文章首先分析了中越边境友谊关历史地段整体设计项目的设计要素,进而从整体设计与单体设计这两个层面介绍了设计构思,并强调了保护更新原则的意义与作用。This paper makes analysis of the elements of the integral project design for the historic area of the Youyignan Pass on the border of China and Vietnam, and makes introduction to the conception of design for both the whole and the individual. It emphasizes the meaning and influences of the principles of conservation and renewal.
