摘　　要：流行性脑脊髓膜炎（流脑）是一种急性呼吸道传染病，既往相关的流行病学调查研究主要基于血清学实验之上，随着分子生物学实验技术的发展，人们逐渐从分子水平对流脑的流行特征、细菌变异和人群易感性情况进行研究，此文对近年来这些研究的进展情况进行简要概括。Meningococcal meningitis is an acute respiratory communicable disease. Previous epidemiological in- vestigations about meningococcal meningitis were mainly based on the result of serology assay. Along with the development of molecular biology techniques, more and more studies on the character of epidemic of meningococcal meningitis, the variation of neisseria meningitides and the host susceptibility association with meningococcal meningitis were carried out at molecular level. This review briefly outlines the advance of these studies.
