摘　　要：针对GPS在各领域的应用,主要介绍了基于GPS的信息系统的构建方法。该系统是由测控终端、通信系统和中心监控系统三个相互关联的部分组成,阐述了各组成部分的结构、功能,简要介绍了基于GPS信息系统的各个应用领域及现状,并指出基于GPS的信息系统是一个将全球定位系统(GPS)、计算机技术、通信技术、数据库技术相结合的产物,已经成为跨学科、跨行业、广用途、高效益的综合性高新技术。Aiming at GPS application in all fields, this paper introduces the construction of information system based on GPS. It is composed of measuring terminal, communication system and center monitoring system. It introduces the structure and function. Moreover,this paper discusses the application fields of information system based on GPS in brief. The information system based on GPS is a fusion of GPS,computer technology,communication technology, database technology,it is a new technology.
