摘　　要：新世纪的可持续发展面临着能源的严峻挑战，要求我们考虑常规能源的接替问题。进入21世纪以来，我国已经加入到全球化经济的激烈竞争之中，竞争的核心战场将在高科技领域展开。一些技术发达国家正在利用高技术的优势，利用计算机、新材料、先进管理技术，以最少的能源、原材料和人力的投入，取得最廉价、最优质的产品，从而夺得在全球化经济竞争中的霸主地位。在新世纪中，The sustainable development of the new century is confronting serious challenges of energy, which requires us considering the replacement of conventional energy. Entering 21 century, China has already take part in the intense competition of global economy, the core battlefield of which is the hi-tech area. With the least input of energy, material and human capital, some technology developed countries are taking advantage of hi-tech, using computer, new material and advanced management technology in order to get the cheapest and highest quality products. Consequently, they can become the leader in global economic competition. In new century, new energy will emerge one after another and the utilization of energy will be more efficient. The whole society will operate effectively with the strong support of energy, the ecological environment will be more graceful than last century and our human being will spare no efforts to defend our globe.
