in this paper, the author introduces the distribution of gold and st1Ver ores formedin PreCambrian strata in Yanshan areas. Mainly introduces the distribution characteristics andregulation of An(Ag) and relative elements: Ph. B. F. As. Ba. S in Carbonate rocks for middle andupper Proterozoic. The distribution of gold and silver deposits are controled by extensionaltectonic setting between Archean (or early Proterozoic) and middle and upper Proterozoic.Multiple extersional decollements in Yanshan areas are represented by bedding ductile shear zonescharacterized by developiflg on different levels at different stages of evolution of the crust. Theseextensional decollements resulted from bedding shearing along the existed tectonic planes (mainly'unconformities') or boundaries between rock series or lithological units. In recent years, the geologists have discovered that metallogentic belts of such gold and silverores depoSits which are occurred in Gaoyuzhuang formation and Wurnishan formation are famousin North China. The contents of gOld and silver are higher, about 20-100ppm. Orebodies reachlarge scale with great extension. The author proPOses a primary idea which conce~ prospectingorientation, metallogenetic conditions and sustained propects. Thus is OPen a new way for findingnew type of gold and silVer deposits in Yanshan areas.
