摘　　要：文章从文献资源、资源共享、读者服务、数字图书馆建设、管理体制、馆舍与设备、人力资源、财力资源等方面对中美图书馆进行比较,并在此基础上提出当前发展我国图书馆的几点想法。This paper compares Chinese libraries and American ones in aspects of document resources, resources sharing, readers service, digital library construction, management system, building ＆ facilities, human resources and financial resources and based on this gives several suggestions to develop current Chinese Libraries. 25 refs.
