摘　　要：本文从分析伍尔夫《达洛卫夫人》和《夜与日》等作品入手,以文化批评为切入点,关注自19世纪以降,现代性给都市女性带来了新的机遇,总结女性作为漫游者的都市境遇;而女性带给城市的对日常生活之美的感悟,进入公共领域的现代女性所建立的都市空间,以姐妹情谊来对抗都市人的孤独幻灭之感,增加了女性的可见度及公共影响力。By analyzing Virginia Woolf＇s Mrs. Dalloway and Night and Day, this paper aims to examine the relationship between modernity and urban women from the cultural perspective. Since the 19th century, while sisterhood has been employed to relieve the sense of loneliness and illusion, the former has given women new opportunity for their personal development. Women, on the other hand, have guided others to appreciate the beauty of everyday life. More and more women are seen to go out of the private sphere and into the public sphere. Their influence and power are daily increased after they construct their own urban space.
