摘 要:为了改善扭曲相列相液晶显示(TN-LCD)器件的视角特性,以Fuji Film公司提出的混合型宽视角膜结构为原型,以暗态总光强为评价函数,以自行改进的A.Lien扩展琼斯矩阵法和三维参数空间法作为优化算法,建立了宽视角膜设计和自动优化程序,给出了设计结果,并通过暗态光强、亮态光强、对比度和灰度等级等参数进行了性能评价.仿真结果表明,带有宽视角膜的TN-LCD器件的暗态总光强减少为不带宽视角膜器件的35.1%;60°锥视角内的对比度几乎全部达到10以上;水平和垂直方向的灰度曲线的线性度也有显著提高.In order to improve the viewing-angle of twisted nematic liquid crystal display (TN-LCD), using the total light intensity at black state as merit function, and using the three-dimensional parameter space method and the improved A. Lien's extended Jones matrix method as optimization arithmetics, a design and atuo-optimization program for wide viewing-angle (WV) films was developed based on the structure of mixed WV films presented by Fuji Film Company. The design result was presented and evaluated by the following parameters: the light intensity at black state, the light intensity at white state, the contrast ratio and the gray levels in perpendicular and horizontal directions. Simulation showed that the total light intensity at black state of the TN-LCD with WV films was reduced to 35. 1% of the TN-LCD without WV films, that the contrast ratio in cone view angle of 60° was almost totally improved up to 10, and that the linearity of gray levels in perpendicular and horizontal directions were improved greatly.
