摘　　要：从黑人女性主义视角考察《戴家奶奶》中的百衲被的象征意义和文化含义,书中的百衲被体现了黑人女性主义思想:强调差异性,同时倡导整体性。在书中,百衲被被赋予了神奇的力量,它把过去、现在和未来连接起来,是黑人在现实生活中克服种种困难的力量源泉。This paper explores the symbolic and cultural significance of quilting in Mama Day. The authorexposes that quilting reflects the womanist＇s thoughts： difference and wholeness. In the book, the quilt, inwhich the black people＇s past, present and future are connected, is endowed with a mythic power. It gives the black people the power of overcoming difficulties in their reality.
