摘　　要：本文叙述了内燃机车起动用椭圆形管式密封铅酸电池的设计。性能测试表明起动性能良好,在机车上的使用寿命预期比原有电池提高一倍左右,且无需维护。The oval tubular sealed lead-acid battery for starting diesel locomotive was designed. The performance test of these batteries showed clearly that its starting capability was well .the expected service life of this battery was about twice as long as that of the original battery and it was maintenance-free.
