摘　　要：描述JPEG2000静止图像压缩标准产生的背景、特点,所涉及的重要概念和关键技术,讲述了作为JPEG2000标准中首选算法小波的提升算法,用程序实现了简单的基于小波提升算法的JPEG2000的编解码系统,并将压缩后的图像在质量及大小两方面与JPEG图像作了比较。The original background, characteristics, conception and key techniques of JPEG2000 image compression standard were described. Pointing out that the lifting wavelet algorithm will be the preferred standard in JPEG2000. At the same time, a simple JPEG2000 encoding/decoding system based on the lifting wavelet algorithm was realized with program. And the equality and capacity of the image with the JPEG image were compared.
