摘　　要：我国竞技体育要坚持科学发展、和谐发展。紧紧抓住新世纪新阶段竞技体育发展面临的极好机遇,不断增强竞技体育发展的紧迫感和责任感,与时俱进,开拓创新。通过卓有成效的工作,提高研究和服务水平,以优异的成果促进体育社会科学的深入发展。The competitive sports in China should insist on scientific and harmonious development, seize the opportuninty in the new stage of the century , strengthen continously the sense of urgency and responsibility, advance with the times innovatively. It should promote its investigation and service through fruitful efforts,accelerate the profound development of sports science, reform and opening-up,and the modem construction with outstanding achievements.
