摘　　要：中国的第一个铁路工厂是胥各庄修车厂，即现在的唐山机车车辆工厂的前身。该厂始建于1880年5月，距今已有100多年的历史。胥各庄修车厂是中国早期的近代工业企业之一，是晚清洋务运动中兴建的中国第一家铁路工业企业。1881年建厂之初，即组装并制造了中国第一台蒸汽机车，制造了第一批运煤货车．还制造了中国第一辆客车等，成为中国铁路机车车辆的摇篮。China＇s first railway plant is Xugezhuang Railway Plant, which is the current Tangshan Locomotive Factory. The plant was built in May 1880, which has 100 years of history. Xugezhuang Railway Plant was one of the China＇s early industrial enterprises, and was the first railway plant in the late Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of 1881, it manufactured the first steam locomotive, the first batch of coal trucks, and the first passenger train, which was the cradle for Chinese railway rolling stock.
