摘 要:以3H-秋水仙碱为探针,测定小鼠脑微管蛋白含量.结果表明雌性激素具有显著的促进成年鼠脑微管蛋白合成的作用.与雌性激素相比,雄性激素促进脑微管蛋白合成的作用较弱.特别值得指出的是雌性激素促进脑微管蛋白合成的作用发生在脑发育的临界期之外,而此时甲状腺激素早已丧失了促进脑微管蛋白合成的作用.因此雌性激素在维护成年脑结构和功能的完整完善方面起着重要作用,而且这种作用可能会获得新的应用.The tubulin was qauntitated by 3H-colchicine assay(expressed as colochicine binding activity). Gonadectomy resulted in a 23% to 27% decline of tubulin level in female mouse, a 8% to 13% decline in male mouse as compared with that of intact mouse. The effect of gonad hormones on the biogenesis of brain tubulin has been studied in the gonadectomized middle-aged mouse. Estrogen plays a much stronger role than that of testosterone in stimulating tubulin synthesis. Estradiol increased the contents of brain tubulin by 29% to 43%. Estradiol and progesterone together can produce a 22 % to 49% increase. Maybe this experiment reveals a new action of estrogen, i. e., estrogen stimulates brain tubulin synthesis in adult mouse. It is more important that stimulation of tubulin synthesis by estrogen takes place after the critical period of brain development. All these results indicate that estrogen still plays its role in stimulation of tubulin synthesis while thyroid hormones cease to play this kind of role during this time. It might be possible for us to apply sex hormones to cure some patients with developmental deficiency of brain or to maintain normal brain structure and physiological function in the middle-aged and the old-aged.anirnal or men. Maybe the estrogen might be also used to delay brain senility.
