Influence of β-Nucleating Agent on Crystalline Morphology and Mechanical Performance of Blocked Copolymerized Polypropylene(PP-B)

摘  要:主要研究了在嵌段共聚聚丙烯(PP-B)中加入少量的β-成核剂,用广角X射线衍射测得其样品中生成了含有质量分数范围为60%~80%的β-PP。用偏光显微镜观察到,加入β-成核剂的样品中球晶尺寸得到了细化,有利于其力学性能的提高。通过50℃的注塑成型,用DSC测得其样品中生成的β晶体的量比较少,冲击强度的提高幅度不大。用50mm/min的拉伸速率进行拉伸测试,拉伸曲线表明没有添加β-成核剂的PP-B,球晶尺寸过大,导致拉伸过程中负荷的降低,拉伸过后用DSC测试发现样品中的β晶体全部转化成α晶体。Study was carried out of blocked copolyrnerized polypropylene (PP-B) with a small amount of β-nucleating agent added and by way of wide-angle X-ray diffraction it was determined that β- PP the generating mass fraction of which ranged from 60% to 80% was formed in the sample. By means of polarization microscope it was observed that in the sample with β-nucleating agent added, size of crystals was thinned which was beneficial to enhancing of its mechanical performance. By way of injection molding at 50℃ , the sample determined by DSC contained only a small amount of β-crystals so that the impact strength increased marginally. At rate of 50 mm/min for the e tensile test, its tensile curves showed that if no addition of β-nucleating agent in PP-B, spherulite size would be too large, resulting in reduction of load in the tensile process. DSC testing after tension found all of β-crystals turned into α-crystals.
