摘　　要：开展国际并购是国际银行业做大做强的重要方式,本文简要分析了国际银行业并购的动因及作用,总结和分析了汇丰银行的并购概况、动因、策略和方法。根据中资银行当前的并购形势及未来发展,作者在六个方面就中资银行展开国际并购的策略选择提出了自己的建议。M ＆A is an important means for international banking to become big and strong. This article analyses the motives and functions of international banking. It summarizes and analyses motives, strategies and methods of HSBC＇s M＆A. According to the situations and development of Chinese banking, the author put forward some advice to China＇s banks in choosing right strategies regarding M＆A.
