摘　　要：提出开展阅读活动是提高外文期刊利用率的有效手段,根据医院图书馆的实际情况,分析开展阅读活动的必要性,介绍活动的内容方式和特征,并提出关注的问题,即争取管理者的参与支持,完善评估工作,逐步制度化、规范化。The paper suggests developing reading activity is an effective way of increasing foreign language journal utility ratio. According to the practical situation of hospital library, it analyzes the necessity of starting reading activity and illustrates the way and the character of activity content. It raises the caring question, that is to say, win- ning participation and support of the administrator, completing assessment on the reading activity with institutionalization and standardization step by step.
