摘　　要：在新的历史条件下,面临着新的机遇和挑战,保险学会如何求生存谋发展,不断开拓学会工作的新局面,应克服目前保险学会存在功能作用、体制机制、监督管理还不适应新形势需求的问题,这就要求学会自身要注重创新,在"学术立会、创新强会、活动兴会、服务聚会"上下工夫,提高服务能力、协调能力和创新能力,促进学会的专业化、职业化和规范化建设,做到有为而有位,有位而有威,充分发挥其功能作用,更好地为保险业又好又快发展服务。In the new historical era, the Insurance Institute of China is facing with new opportunities and challenges. Its survival and development will depend on how it gets adapted to the new situation, overcomes its constraints in the aspects of functions, mechanism and supervision and management, and opens up a new situation of work. It is also important that IIC should try to strengthen its academic position, flourish itself through innovation, planned activities and better services, and enhance its specialization, professionalism and standardization. By doing so, it will play a meaningful rule for faster and better development of the insurance industry.
