摘　　要：文章在阐释生态经济城市内涵和理论依据基础上,分析了湖南西部生态经济城市建设的必要性与可行性,指出了湘西生态经济城市建设的基础及所面临的问题并提出具有针对性的思路和对策。This paper on the basis of interpretation of Eco-economic city connotation and theoretical foundation, analysis the necessity and feasibility of Eco-economic city construction of west Hunan, then further point out the basis and problems, last put forward the corresponding thoughts and countermeasures.
