摘　　要：网络处理器将高数据包处理能力、应用灵活性和低成本很好地结合在一起。是新一代网络设备的核心器件。文中详细地介绍Intel IXP2350网络处理器的硬件体系结构和软件框架,讨论系统数据面软件设计,并以数据包转发应用为例,研究数据包的处理过程。A key device used in new generation network facilities, network processors have the advantages of high packet processing ability, application flexibility and low cost. This article introduces the hardware architecture and software framework of network processor IXP2350 in detail, then discusses the software design based on network processor system. Finally, it investigates into the packet processing processes through analyzing a packet forwarder application.
