摘　　要：叙述了直链α-烯烃的用途、生产工艺并重点介绍了其在合成油中的应用。合成油中聚α-烯烃(PAO)是市场需求增长最快的品种之一。与矿物油相比,PAO合成润滑油具有挥发度低、高黏度指数、低倾点、高闪点和高温氧化性能良好,使用寿命长等特点。同时介绍了国内外PAO合成油市场需求、生产技术进展及其在改善国内润滑油产品结构中的重要性。The application of α-olefins and the manufacture process, especially used in synthetic lubricants were reviewed. The market demand of poly-α-olefin（PAO） in synthetic oils was one of the fastest growing, the PAO synthetic lubricants not only have the advantage of lower volatility, higher viscosity index, lower pour point, higher flash point and excellent high temperature anti-oxidation performance, but also have long use life compared with mineral oils. The world market of PAO synthetic oil, its production technology and the importance of PAO in improvement of the quality for domestic lubricants were introduced.
