摘　　要：计算机支持的群体成员间的协同和交互是当前国际上计算机研究领域的前沿课题之一。分布式多媒体协同编著系统实现了多个用户在分布式环境下通过协同工作完成多媒体电子图书从编辑制作、协商、讨论到修改完稿的全过程，提供了同步和异步两种协作模式，允许多个用户在共享窗口对同一多媒体文档进行评论和批注，并提供语音的实时交互和视频图象的共享。它由通信服务、协作代理、任务代理、著作库管理以及多种协同应用构成，软件接口符合工业标准，具有开放性、通用性和方便性等特点。其通信部分采用了基于流量的反馈机制，能够有效地利用和适应网络的带宽。该系统在计算机支持的协同工作支撑平台与应用及综合业务多媒体通信终端与系统两个国家重点科研项目中得到了成功的应用，作为一个协作平台，还可用于协同设计、协同诊断等场合。? Computer supported cooperative and interactive working is one of the front areas in computer researches. The distributed multimedia cooperative writing system is a system which enables several users in a distributed environment cooperatively edit, modify and annotate multimedia documents, thus create a multimedia book. The system provides synchronous and asynchronous cooperative modes. Multiple users can discuss and annotate the same multimedia document with the help of real time audio and video. It is composed of communication services, cooperative agent, task agent, working library management, and several cooperative applications. It is open, general, and is convenient to use. Its communication module adopts feedback mechanism based on data flow, which can efficiently utilize and adapt the network bandwidth. As a cooperative platform, it can be also used in other environments such as cooperative design, cooperative diagnose.
